Why Brainwaves Training?

Brainwaves was formed by Louise Sheffield of Active Case Management Ltd and Colin Green of Physio Matters Neurological Ltd, following discussion between them about the potential merits of sharing in-service training with fellow clinicians.

Open to therapists, case managers, social workers, support workers, and lawyers; in fact, anyone working in the field of acquired brain injury, Brainwaves exists to share informal clinical training, without networking and sales pitches. Training covers clinical topics: HCPC audit process, insight after brain injury, serial casting, hydrotherapy, and many more.

An events calendar is available here on the site, with updates also provided via social media – however,  you can also email us at enquiries@brainwavestraining.co.uk if you wish to be added to our mailing list.

The sessions are free to attend however donations are invited, and these will be forwarded to local Headway groups and branches. On occasion, paid training will also be offered, and all profits offset against costs throughout the year, which will otherwise be covered by Active Case Management and Physio Matters Neurological.

Unless otherwise advertised, sessions are held at the Physio Matters offices, Hollinwood Business Centre, Albert Street, Failsworth, Oldham, OL8 3QL.
